How long have you been a photographer?
I’ve been doing photography for about 8yrs. I bought my first camera with scholarship money my last year of college.
Tell me exactly how you got booked for the Italian Vogue cover. You know, I’ve come to realize just how powerful social media is. A producer found me on Instagram and the rest was history.
How hard was it to keep the shoot a secret? I am pretty low-key so it wasn’t hard. I am an artist at heart, boasting and telling everyone about my work was never my thing. I actually never really reached out to be published. I am happy that it is happening, but it was never my goal starting out as a photographer.

How was it working with Martin Luther King’s daughter, Dr Bernice King?
It was a little intimidating only because we were in the middle of a pandemic, interactions were minimal, and I just didn’t know what to expect. Overall, we enjoyed it. I always enjoy photographing non-models because they aren’t as aware of themselves and take better direction which always makes a great canvas.
